Defendant, Danny Ray Lambert, was charged by indictment with two counts of aggravated burglary, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:60, and one count each of aggravated rape and aggravated crime against nature, as denounced by LSA-R.S. 14:42 and LSA-R.S. 14:89.1. One of the counts of aggravated burglary was severed and, following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of the remaining three counts as charged.
