The petitioner, Barry Wayne Buckner, was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to 270 days in jail and a $4,000 fine. Buckner appealed to the Court of Criminal Appeals, which affirmed the judgment without an opinion. 541 So.2d 81.
