On 18 November 1986, defendant pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. He was sentenced to one year in prison. This sentence was suspended, and defendant was placed on probation for a period of three years. On 28 January 1987, defendant pleaded guilty to felonious breaking and entering.
