The defendant, Douglas B. Parker, was tried upon separate bills of indictment, proper in form, charging him with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon. The jury returned verdicts finding the defendant guilty of first-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping and common law robbery.
