This is an appeal by plaintiff from a judgment of the Court of Claims in favor of defendant on plaintiff's claim for negligence.

Plaintiff, Cindy Baldauf, was a student at Kent State University when, on September 11, 1983, she injured her left ankle when she slipped and fell on steps in a dormitory residence.
