Appellant Salt Lake City Corporation ("SLCC") brought an action against James Constructors, Inc.; James's parent, Hood Corporation; and James's surety, Industrial Indemnity Company. SLCC sought to recover the cost of repairing and completing work done pursuant to a public construction contract. Hood moved for summary judgment.
