The defendant, Larry J. Jackson, age 18, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. The defendant was tried by jury and found guilty as charged. He was sentenced to serve thirty-five years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
