This case arises out of a two-vehicle accident which occurred on May 17, 1980, in Omaha, Nebraska, near the intersection of 97th and Q Streets. Plaintiff-appellant, James E. Joyner, was traveling westbound on Q Street. He testified that as he neared 97th Street, he noticed a car behind him that had been tailgating him for "quite a ways." Joyner stopped at the intersection, and his vehicle was struck from behind by the vehicle driven by Donald R. Steenson...
