Appellant Jean Owen petitioned the superior court to have certain property included as an asset in the estate of her father, Joseph J. Calligaro. She sought to establish that the proceeds from the sale of a parcel of real property, which had been owned by the decedent and his wife, constituted community property to be included in his estate rather than joint tenancy property which passed outside of the estate to the survivor.
