The defendant, David B. Denis, was charged by bill of information with six counts of burglary of an inhabited dwelling, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:62.2, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1. The defendant originally pled not guilty on all counts, then changed his pleas to guilty as charged on all counts and later withdrew those guilty pleas.
