Defendant appeals as of right from his conviction by a jury of breaking and entering an occupied dwelling with intent to commit a felony, MCL 750.110; MSA 28.305, and of assault with a dangerous weapon, MCL 750.82; MSA 28.277. Following his conviction, defendant pled guilty to being an habitual offender, MCL 769.10; MSA 28.1082. Defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of four to twenty-two-and-one-half years imprisonment on the breaking and entering...
