We have before us defendants' motion for summary judgment on the grounds that the within action is barred by the statute of limitations. The issue before the court is the applicability of the statute of limitations to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. Normally, in a negligence action, such as this, alleging property damage, the applicable statute of limitations would be two years. (42 Pa.C.S. §5524).
