In this case we are called upon to determine whether a party may be held liable for damages proximately resulting from a person's reasonable reliance on fraudulent misrepresentations, despite the fact that such a person had no privity with the party making the misrepresentations and was not specifically intended to rely on the misrepresentations, when the reliance was nonetheless specially foreseeable.
