In this wrongful death Louisiana diversity case, defendant-appellant Pan American World Airways, Inc. (Pan Am), following retrial, appeals the district court's grant of the motion for new trial of plaintiffs-appellees Susana Beatriz Brun-Jacobo, Ana Esther Brun-Jacobo, and Alberto Eduardo Brun-Jacobo (collectively, the Brun-Jacobos). We hold that the district court erred in granting the motion for new trial, and we remand the case with instructions...
