YOUNG, Judge.

Defendant appeals his conviction for possession of a controlled substance. ORS 475.992(4). He argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress. We affirm.

On September 25, 1985, defendant was stopped by a police officer because of erratic driving. After advising defendant of his Miranda rights and conducting field sobriety tests, the officer arrested defendant for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
