OPINION ON APPELLANT'S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

Appellant was convicted of murder. V.T. C.A., Penal Code, § 19.02. Punishment was assessed by the jury at life imprisonment and a fine of $10,000.

On appeal the appellant, inter alia, complained that the "trial court erred in overruling appellant's objection to the charge for its failure to instruct the jury on the law of voluntary intoxication as mitigation." Appellant...
