Defendant, Power Process Piping, Inc., appeals from an order granting summary judgment to plaintiff, Fischbach-Natkin Company, under GCR 1963, 117.2(3), now MCR 2.116(C)(10). The summary judgment was granted under an indemnity provision contained in a subcontract between plaintiff, as general contractor, and defendant, as subcontractor, which provided:

Section 12. The Subcontractor [Power Process Piping, Inc.] agrees to and shall indemnify,...
