Defendant, David Lee Alfred, and Clarence Sullivan were charged by bill of information with armed robbery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. They both pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, were convicted as charged. The trial court subsequently sentenced each to serve ninety-nine years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
