On May 6, 1981, plaintiff Clarence Harris filed a medical malpractice action in Wayne Circuit Court against defendants First Lieutenant Anne Missavage, M.D.; Second Lieutenant Paul Reynolds; Captain Curtis Champion, M.D.; and Second Lieutenant John Harrold. Plaintiff also filed a related action in the Court of Claims against defendants the State of Michigan and the Michigan National Guard. The two actions were joined for trial in the Wayne Circuit Court...
