This appeal arises from an issuance of a writ of habeas corpus by Judge Edward Johnstone, United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky. Appellee, Thomas E. Redd, Jr., was convicted of First Degree Robbery and Second Degree Persistent Felony Offender in the Christian Circuit Court, Commonwealth of Kentucky. He was sentenced to life in prison.
