Petitioner pro se Robert Jenkins has applied to this Court for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. For the reasons set forth below, petitioner's application is denied.

Jenkins was arrested on August 10, 1983 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on a residential street in Merrick, New York. On September 21, 1983, a Nassau County Grand Jury indicted petitioner on one count of burglary...
