Guy A. Lombard, defendant, was charged by grand jury indictment with the second degree murder of John St. Pierre in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant was found guilty as charged by a twelve person jury and sentenced to the mandatory term of life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
