Guy A. Lombard, defendant, was charged by grand jury indictment with the second degree murder of John St. Pierre in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant was found guilty as charged by a twelve person jury and sentenced to the mandatory term of life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. Defendant's conviction and sentence were affirmed by this court in a prior opinion...
