Defendant, Prentiss Jackson, appeals his jury convictions of two counts of illegal possession of stolen things, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:69. After receiving a presentence report defendant was ordered to serve two years at hard labor on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently, and a $750 fine, in default thereof, to serve an additional year in the parish jail.
