Appellant Roxana Marlene Parker was assaulted by a coworker at the workplace during working hours. In her action for assault, she named her employer, respondent Honeywell, Inc., as a defendant under the theory of vicarious liability. Finding that Parker's exclusive remedy against Honeywell was under the worker's compensation laws, the trial court granted summary judgment for Honeywell...
