Defendant was charged with two counts of distribution of marijuana and two counts of distribution of phencyclidine (PCD) in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966. Defendant was convicted by a jury on all four counts and subsequently sentenced to serve two years at hard labor on each count with the sentences to run consecutively.
