This cause is before the court on appeal from a judgment of conviction in the Perrysburg Municipal Court.

Appellant, Vincent F. Gonzalez, on October 6, 1986, was charged with a violation of R.C. 4511.34, first paragraph, following too closely, while driving on the Ohio Turnpike in the township of Lake, Wood County, Ohio.
