Marion Robinson, Jr. was convicted by a jury of one count of mail theft in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1708 and of a second count for aiding and abetting mail theft in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 1708. Robinson was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for the mail theft; he received for the aiding and abetting count a three year suspended sentence and was placed on three years probation to commence on his release from his confinement...
