PER CURIAM.

Roger Shaughnessy appeals the denial by the district court1 of his petition for post-conviction relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (1982). The sole issue on appeal is whether Shaughnessy was denied effective assistance of counsel during the criminal proceedings against him. We affirm.
