This appeal is before us on remand from the Supreme Court of Louisiana to fix the damages for which the defendant may be liable. The defendant is a physician who wrongfully supplied prescriptions for controlled dangerous substances in excessive amounts to a teenaged patient fostering her drug addiction and causing her death by an overdose of the drugs.
