Defendant, Chris A. Larsen, was charged by grand jury indictment with the negligent homicide of one Alice Lewis, a violation of LSA R.S. 14:32.1 Defendant was arraigned on March 28, 1983 and pled not guilty. Defendant waived his right to a jury trial. On January 17, 1985, defendant was tried by the court and found guilty as charged. He was sentenced to four years at hard labor; two years suspended with two years unsupervised...
