These appeals are from consolidated cases in which judgments were entered on verdicts for the plaintiffs totalling $1,410,000. Sallie C. Hamilton and Jacqueline Evans were struck by a pickup truck driven by Clarence Campbell. Hamilton died as a result of her injuries. Her executors filed a wrongful death action, Code 1975, § 6-5-410, and Evans and Campbell each filed separate suits for damages against Treadwell Ford, Inc., which had sold Campbell...
