The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority applied to the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas to receive administrative rent under section 503 of the Bankruptcy Code of 1978, 11 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.1 The bankruptcy court, applying the doctrine of res judicata, dismissed the Airport's claim, holding that an earlier proceeding had already disposed of it.
