Thaddeus Michael Lockhart appeals the federal district court's denial of Lockhart's petition for habeas corpus relief. 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Lockhart contends that he is entitled to habeas corpus relief on the grounds that he was deprived of effective assistance of counsel both at trial and on appeal.
