H. Richard Runnels, III and Buddy's Tastee # 2, Inc. ("Runnels") appeal the adequacy of damages awarded them by a judgment against their lessor, Tastee Donuts, Inc. ("Tastee") whose eviction forced them to vacate their subleased business location. The Trial Court held that Tastee breached its obligation to keep Runnels in peaceable possession of the property and as a result, he was entitled to $10,000.00 in general damages for loss of a donut shop and...
