BYRNES, Judge.

Defendant, Joe Standley, AKA Joe Stampling, was convicted of simple robbery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:65. He was found to be an habitual offender and sentenced to ten years at hard labor without the possibility of parole. He appeals this conviction based on three assignments of error. We find these assignments to be without merit and affirm his conviction and sentence.
