Plaintiff appeals from a judgment of the trial court maintaining an exception of prescription and dismissing his suit. We affirm.

On April 15, 1980, plaintiff filed a suit for worker's compensation benefits resulting from injuries he allegedly suffered in the course and scope of his employment on April 17, 1979. That suit was dismissed without prejudice because plaintiff failed to appear in court on the date of the trial....
