In this consolidated appeal, Anthony C. Lowery and Susan Thomas appeal their convictions of attempted possession of heroin.

Lowery and Thomas were arrested, along with four other individuals, when New Orleans Police Department narcotics officers executed a search warrant at an apartment in the Fisher Housing Project shortly after midnight on April 28, 1984.
