Appellant, Kathleen Bowen, filed a verified charge with the Human Rights Commission pursuant to Minn.Stat. § 363.03, subd. 1 (1984) of the Minnesota Human Rights Act. She alleged that her employer, respondent Superwood Corporation, discriminated against her on the basis of gender by paying her less than a male employee whom she alleged had previously performed the same job.
