Appellant is Antoinne Williams, who was convicted of three counts of armed robbery by a jury on March 7, 1985. A week later, the State filed a bill of information charging Williams with being a multiple offender; and on May 3, 1985, following a hearing on the applicability of the habitual offender statute, Williams was sentenced to 198 years at hard labor on each count, the sentences to run concurrently but without benefit of parole, probation or suspension...
