Plaintiff appeals the dismissal of its complaint pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(6) entered by the district court for the Western District of Michigan. The motion to dismiss was based upon defendant's contention, accepted by the district court, that Michigan's new Motor Vehicle Act, Mich.Comp.Laws § 445.1571, regulating certain aspects of distributor/dealer contracts, should be applied only prospectively, rather than retrospectively...
