Appellants Louis Quintero and Paula Quintero sued Jim Walter Homes, Inc., for violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and the Consumer Credit Code. The Quinteros alleged that, during contractual negotiations for the purchase and construction of a new home, the salesman for Jim Walter Homes made misrepresentations about the quality of the home to their damage.
