BLANCHE, Justice.

This is an action by four major, presumed legitimate children to prove in a succession proceeding their filiation to a deceased person under Civil Code article 209. We granted writs on application of the plaintiffs to decide whether children who fall into one of the enumerated classes contained in Article 209, as amended by Act 720 of 1981, are precluded from bringing an action to prove filiation to their alleged biological father.
