Following their joint jury trial, Carlos A. Samalot Perez and Enrique Ramos Rosa were convicted of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery in violation of the Hobbs Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1951. Each defendant received two consecutive twelve-year sentences. They now appeal their convictions and the sentences imposed.
