Appellant Lucio Suarez sued appellee Sherman Gin Co. and others1 to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in an accident involving a cotton ginning machine manufactured by Hardwicke-Etter Co. Prior to the accident, Hardwicke-Etter sold its assets, changed its name to Sherman Gin Co., and was dissolved as a corporation on October 3, 1977. Suarez was injured on November 18, 1977.
