CURRAULT, Judge.

On June 15, 1982, defendant, Manuel Caballero, was arrested in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes for possession of methaqualone (quaaludes) with intent to distribute, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967. An Orleans Parish bill of information was filed charging the defendant with possession of methaqualone (quaaludes) with intent to distribute. On October 5, 1983, he pled guilty as charged and was sentenced to serve five years at hard labor.
