RINGOLD, J.

A jury found Marvin S. Ekkelkamp guilty of third degree assault for striking police officers executing a warrant for his arrest. He appeals his conviction arguing that the State failed to prove every element of the crime and that the trial court erred by refusing to admit evidence of underlying irregularities in the issuance of the warrant. We find no error and affirm.
