Defendant, Rudolpho Martinez, was charged with murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548, and, in a supplemental information, with having three prior felony convictions, MCL 769.12; MSA 28.1084. He later pled guilty to a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter, MCL 750.321; MSA 28.553, and the original habitual offender charge.
