Jane Read appeals from a judgment of conviction of wire fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1343, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 371, entered upon her Alford plea on October 1, 1985. Read contends that the trial court abused its discretion in denying her presentence motion to withdraw her Alford plea.
