This case arises from a dispute over the balance owed by plaintiff/appellant on a securities margin account opened with defendant/appellee. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant, finding that plaintiff was collaterally estopped from prosecuting a RICO claim due to findings made in an earlier arbitration, and that a two-year statute of limitations precluded plaintiff's federal securities claims.
