This is a child custody modification case.

When the parties were divorced in January 1982, the final judgment of the Circuit Court of Talladega County approved an agreement of the parties whereby the mother was granted custody of their only child, Adam. In June 1983, custody was changed to the father by an agreement which was ratified and confirmed by the trial court. The wife filed the present proceedings
